coprophagia-related deaths

Dear Mr. Henderson,

I am afraid that you didn't send me your inane demands out of genuine ignorance or stupidity, but because you are a trolling asshole who thinks that sending such letters is funny. Therefore, if you would like me to take the time to explain to you (at length and in detail if you will) why you are completely wrong, and why what you are doing is in fact illegal, I ask of you to prove your sincerity by filing a lawsuit against me. Of course you have no clue about the consequences this would have, but let me tell you this: it would be great fun for one of us.

All the best,
Norman Sturrock

Rocket Surgery

I hereby present you with the spring-loaded scroll wheel: It doesn't do full revolutions, but instead functions like the pitch-bend wheel on a MIDI keyboard. Springs always return it to the centre position upon release. If you pull it down from the centre position, using your scrolling finger, by just a very small amount, your mouse constantly sends signals to your computer, indicating a scroll wheel continuously being turned downwards, very slowly. The more you pull or push, the faster the scrolling becomes. Now you can scroll any distance, both super quickly and precisely, without touching your wheel more than once.

I don't have the ressources to apply for a patent; but you read it here first, I am in fact the inventor of this technology.

remembering that weird japanese guy who would jot down little diary entries to start a stream of consciousness containing useful ideas, which would subsequently be neatly captured onto index cards, he made himself put a fresh sheet into the typewriter and just write anything at all, the first thing that entered his mind.

i have no asshole and i must fart.

"now that surely set my synapses on fire," he said to himself, "time for a coffee break."
