my next piece of interactive fiction will be in the form of an epic poem. the user's input will have to be in the correct meter, and of course rhyme with the rest of the text. this makes for a bit of a challenge, but it also provides hints.

today i had to call sarah, the facial expression stylist, to apologise for telling her son the blue fabric softener was smurf purree. she admitted that at least that was better than saying nothing at all and letting him drink it.

"that customer you're seeing tomorrow ... i'm not telling you what he's like because i don't want to make you nervous; just do yourself a favour and don't set your hopes regarding payment too high."

"done. hey pal, thank you so much for not making me nervous."
