if i had to translate perlustrierungspolaroid, i guess in certain situations the best try i could come up with would be search polaroid, whereas in others it would be frisk photo.

how ze grrrinsh stole grrrismess

the works of dr. seuss have been translated into over twenty---mostly european---languages. but not into german. in the german language, it is seemingly impossible to construct something like that:

...

I do not like them in a box.
I do not like them with a fox
I do not like them in a house
I do mot like them with a mouse
I do not like them here or there.
I do not like them anywhere.
I do not like green eggs and ham.
I do not like them, Sam-I-am.

A train! A train!
A train! A train!
Could you, would you
on a train?

Not on a train! Not in a tree!
Not in a car! Sam! Let me be!
I would not, could not, in a box.
I could not, would not, with a fox.
I will not eat them with a mouse
I will not eat them in a house.
I will not eat them here or there.
I will not eat them anywhere.
I do not like them, Sam-I-am.

... and so... none of my friends has ever heard about dr. seuss, let alone read how the grinch stole christmas or the cat in the hat as a child. and no one understands my virtuous limerick ...

That mad man called Dr. Seuss
Watches porn when he is on the loose.
Flics with chicks
With dicks and pricks,
Is what he'd usually choose.
... too bad.

priapism

during one clock cycle of my floortop's cpu, light travels about the length of my forearm. and you thought light was fast.
synchronizing all parts of a processor core with one clock is a stupid idea anyway, if boasting new frequency numbers is not your main goal.
which it might well be. while the outcomes of more sophisticated approaches to measure cpu power, like MIPS, are instantly recognized as being bogus, GHz, as a measuremend category, are so absolutely simple, that no customer would think of them as complete nonsense.

"my box is faster; while during one of your G4's clock cycles, light travels about the length of your forearm, during one my P4's clock cycles, it only travels about the length of my penis."
erect, i fear.

how i made a friend in mexico

now there's this guy, lying in the hallway, near my room. totally knocked out. i think, allrighty, i'm gonna drag him into my room, put him in the tub, and slit his arteries open. let his corpse putrefy in there. no one will ever notice. so i grapple him and drag him into my room. lock the door. get my knife out. open the blade. that moment, he hauls himself up, rubbing his eyes. quickly i put the knife in my back pocket, the blade still open. give him a hand getting on his feet. tell him, hey buddy, you were knocked out there, thought i'd better get you to a safe place, don't want another corpse in my hallway.
you should've seen how thankful he was. really happy. my new buddy.

it's routeing, not routing

residents of great britain, you disappoint me. i wouldn't have expexted that you would yield to the influence of the stupid americans, who use billion the wrong way. either you stop that, or you'll soon be using trillion the wrong way, too. and develop a stupid accent, grow incredibly fat asses, and start to dislike the sight of primary sexual organs on tv.
i don't consider using gillion a valid option; even if you could agree on how to pronounce it, it would still sound silly.

so i told her

your idea about enabling humans to taste more sexy flavours is really cool, but, considering that your chances of success are rather diminutive, maybe you should try finding new, sexy fragrances. sure, there's a certain sensual quality to sticking your tongue into something, feeling it's texture, sucking on it, feeling it melt in your mouth, but scents also have a very attractive property. you know, they are by magnitudes more likely to trigger certain memories than tastes, because the receptors that sense single odours are hooked up to individual nerves, which are triggering all kinds of associations when they fire electronic impulses to a very small set of specific neurons in your brain, whereas every single taste is perceived through papilae, which work in four cooperating teams that are interconnected among themselves, nerve-trunk-wise. no individualism, hence no associations with individual thoughts.
