do you want to send plain text, styled text, or both?

don't ask me again and
make the default the selection i choose.

trash them anyway? (they won't ever be sent)

don't warn me anymore

now how cool would it be if you could command people in that way?

you know, they had a decimal point in the wrong place when they did the math in the sixties; popping eyes isn't all that healthy as it's widely believed.

if you'd use times new roman to typeset your thesis work, you're either blind or an asshole.

if you'd use arial, you've got to be a blind asshole.

pentagrammic crossed antiprism

after the java applet had finally finished rendering the small ditrigonal dodecicosidodecahedron, it refused to accept the vertex data of the large one.

if i ever found a sect, err, discover the one and only true religion, its symbol will be the pentagrammic crossed antiprism. it looks as cool as it sounds; the only problem is you can hardly wear a wooden copy 'round your neck; all those sharp corners would make that a rather painful experience.

modular origami

GLUT primitives:

  • sphere
  • tetrahedron
  • cube
  • octahedron
  • dodecahedron
  • icosahedron
  • teapotahedron
who in the world needs this? how often do you build a scene containing a bloody dodecahedron? damn pentagons...

while the other children in his kindergarten class still tried to figure out how to construct regular polygons, only using a straightedge and a compass, gauss already showed that the constructible polygons are closely related to the fermat primes.

while it's impossible to solve cube duplication or trisection of an arbitrary angle using just a straightedge (not a marked ruler) and a compass, it can be accomplished utilizing origami. there are a number of recent very powerful results in origami mathematics. i wonder if you could take a sheet of paper and fold together the quadrature of the circle.

shifting phase the easy way.
shifting phase the hard way.
shifting phase the bloody wrong way: no matter if you sleep longer or shorter, it just makes you even more tired and you have no idea what's wrong.

five to seven hours is healthiest. sleep eight or more hours a day and you'll die earlier. if you didn't know that, you're a victim of the sleeping pill industry's propaganda.

did i really bring up the idea of assisting natural selection before? oh no! kids, don't try this at home, it's a Bad Thing---this is was the nazis did! you wouldn't want to be a nazi, would you.

but adaption of the gene pool to the environment through natural selection isn't happening any longer---any idiot can have kids, any weakling can procreate nowadays. evolution's grinding to a halt. we've got to find new ways to evolve. genetic engineering, augmenting our bodies with cybernetic implants and nano bots, wiring our brains to the internet permanently, find new ways to learn and exchange knowledge, create a new post-human culture. our brains might not be growing any longer, but we're smart enough to stick some silicon in there already.
