compatibility

the game consists of very trivial tasks because originally, it was aimed at small children who're still learning them. one of the first adventures to explore is tidying up the apartment. in one room you have to put all the books and magazines into a particular corner, all the clothes into another corner, and so on. the flat mates who suggest activities such as "would you like to tidy up the apartment with me?" and "let's make a pot of tea!" are the same size as the player, but actually adults. it's obvious why this was widely lauded as a clever pedagogic trick. but what hadn't been anticipated was that large numbers of adults began playing the game. singles that wanted to share their apartment with someone. someone they could turn off at any moment.
